We are seeking a specialist Survey Technician to join our Customer Network Solution team at Ooredoo. In this role, you will be instrumental in the physical delivery and provisioning of complex network solutions for our B2B customers. You will be responsible for conducting site surveys, provisioning customer premises equipment (CPE), and ensuring all installations meet our high standards and KPI commitments. This position involves close coordination with internal departments, third-party vendors, and customers to guarantee timely and efficient service delivery. You will educate clients on technical prerequisites, provide remote support, and maintain detailed documentation. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and Ooredoo's reputation as a trusted B2B service provider. Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience with MPLS IP services and Voice services CPE provisioning and troubleshooting.
2. Strong skillset and hands-on experience with IP Networking, including L2/L3 Protocols, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, POTN, SDH, and FTTX.
3. Proficient with router and switch hardware from vendors like Cisco and Huawei.
4. Demonstrable skills in physical network troubleshooting and ensuring customer site readiness.
5. BS in Engineering Degree or equivalent progressive experience in B2B telecommunications.
6. A valid CCNA or equivalent certification is mandatory.
7. Experience with customer relationship management and reporting tools such as Siebel, Field Force Automation, or equivalent.
8. Familiarity with networking tools such as traffic analysers, fiber optic power meters, and Ethernet testers.
Desirable
1. ITIL or BICSI certification.
2. Experience with Qlik or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
3. Excellent documentation and procurement skills.
4. Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and third-party vendors.
5. Flexibility in work hours to meet project deadlines and customer needs.
